Wat Phleng (Klang Suan) is a private temple (Wat Rat) under the Maha Nikaya sect, located in the Bang Phrom Subdistrict of the Taling Chan District in Bangkok.
The temple holds an annual festival in March, spanning 3 days and 3 nights. In addition to this major event, merit-making ceremonies are held on major Buddhist holy days and important traditional festivals.
The most revered figure at the temple is Luang Pho Ta Daeng, housed within the Vihara. He is a sacred Buddha image highly respected by the local community. It is a common tradition for villagers to make vows (Bon Ban) to him, often offering firecrackers or boiled eggs when their prayers are answered.

Daily Dhamma reminders

Live so that others feel at ease. When you depart, let them miss you—rather than living as a burden to them and departing to their relief.
People who get angry easily and intensely are people with bad karma.
People who get angry with difficulty and mildness are people with merit.
Good and evil depend on actions; they do not depend on luck or timing. It is our own actions that determine whether the time is good or bad.
